Aerogels are modern and innovative nanomaterials characterized by the lowest mass/density and the lowest thermal conductivity, making them ideal heat insulators. Aerogel is one of the lightest materials, with very high porosity (up to 99.8%) and a very large specific surface area.
The appearance of the aerogel in the photos changes depending on the lighting, which is why we include several photos under different light conditions to show the “Blue Smoke” or “Frozen Smoke” effect — the unique look of this remarkable material. The color of the granules may vary between batches. The white color of fine powders results from their fragmentation and crystal size, and it comes from the same crystalline aerogel which, in the form of larger crystals, is transparent and bluish, as shown in the other photos.
We sell silica aerogel produced by Phoenix Surowce Sp. z o.o. in the following volumes:
• 250 ml (0.25 liter)
• 500 ml (0.5 liter)
• 1000 ml (1 liter)
• 5000 ml (5 liters)
• other volumes available upon customer request
The aerogel is packed in a zip-lock bag.
Bulk density: 40–70 kg/m³

Porosity: >93%
Average pore size: <30 nm
Aerogels are advanced nanomaterials with extraordinary and surprising properties! It’s worth buying a small sample to explore these incredible materials — completely different from anything we encounter in everyday life!
Unlike other aerogels, our M25W is characterized by enhanced mechanical strength and reduced dustiness. It has a very low density, is UV-stable, absorbs sound and vibrations effectively, absorbs/retains energy well, is highly hydrophobic (repels water), acts as a dielectric with a low dielectric constant, has an extremely developed surface area, and is completely neutral/inert to both strong acids and bases. Additionally, M25W is resistant to temperatures up to 350°C!
Our Aerogels have a wide range of applications, including:
