Aerogel mats are a modern and innovative product created by combining aerogel with a carrier that enhances its mechanical properties.
Our mats utilise a completely different, flexible SEA75 aerogel. It is soft, lightweight, flexible, and spongy, giving them a unique character and properties.
SEA75-MR mats combine the properties of aerogel: low weight/density and the lowest heat transfer coefficient, making them ideal heat insulators, while also being flexible and soft. Furthermore, SEA75 aerogel mats have excellent noise and vibration dampening and absorption properties, making them exceptional materials with a wide range of applications.
– very low thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.02 W/mK,
– low weight of 200 kg/m³,
– high sound and vibration absorption coefficient across the entire frequency spectrum,
Our SEA-75-MR aerogel mats are available in 30×40 cm sheets or 75 cm wide, 10-15 m long rolls, with a standard thickness of 3 mm.
SEA75 aerogel, like M25W aerogel, is a silica aerogel manufactured by Phoenix Surowce Sp. z o.o. and is hydrophobic.
SEA75’s density is 180-200 kg/m³.
Thermal conductivity approximately 0.02 W/mK,
Porosity >93%,
Average pore size <100 nm
Aerogel mats are nanomaterials with unusual and surprising properties, It’s worth buying a small sample and familiarise yourself with these amazing properties, completely different from the ordinary materials we encounter every day!
Unlike other aerogel mats, our SEA75-MR consists entirely of SEA75 aerogel, which is only reinforced with fibres, unlike other “aerogel” mats, which contain only a small amount of very dusty aerogel.
SEA75-MR mats are characterised by mechanical strength, reduced dustiness, relatively low density, UV resistance, good sound and vibration absorption, good energy absorption/absorption, high hydrophobicity (repels water), a low dielectric constant with a highly developed surface area, and are completely neutral/inert to both strong acids and bases. Furthermore, SEA75 is resistant to temperatures up to 350°C!
Our Aerogel Mats have a wide range of applications, including:
